Game Master I – Job Description
Thank you for your interest in working at EscapeGoats Monroe, LLC! We strive to provide people with an excellent escape room experience every time! EscapeGoats Monroe is a single location escape room business serving Monroe, Washington. EscapeGoats has 3 escape rooms currently, with a new one on the way. We offer experience times in the evenings and weekends in 60 minute intervals. The right person will be able to bring comfort to those who’ve never played, build excitement for those who are ready for more and leave people wanting to play again. Are you an outgoing person who can read people and help them have a good time? We are looking to bring on a Game Master to support part time Fridays and weekends with the opportunity for full time or additional hours as we grow.
How we do this:
We keep our rooms maintained and the public spaces spotless. We welcome everyone who comes in like old friends and do our best to accommodate our customers. For each of our teams, we provide a sense of personal accomplishment in solving challenging puzzles and providing an opportunity for quality time together. Giving our customers the sense of pride in what they are capable of and a drive to do more.
- Open and close the business.
- Guide customers from welcoming, taking payments, game play and leaving.
- Answer customer questions in person and over the phone.
- Email customer photos.
- Provide game assistance, hints and time management.
- Maintain room readiness, turn rooms within time and with accuracy. Sometimes this means quick problem solving under pressure.
- Maintain the lobby and bathroom spaces per the cleaning routine.
- Help advertise the escape rooms.
- Communicate room issues and customer feedback.
- Lift up to 25 lbs.
Hourly pay: Minimum wage with the possibility of tips.
